As a Studio Fitness Manager, a typical day might include the following:

  • Follow and review member attendance and participation in order to effectively craft next seasons studio fitness schedule
  • Step in last minute to teach a studio fitness class
  • Research new fitness classes and certifications
  • Conduct studio fitness evaluations
  • Connect with members before and after class to collect feedback
  • Work with the Studio Fitness Instructors to plan and execute specialty classes or events for members
To land this role you need to have;

  • Full Time Availability (must be available to work some evenings and weekends)
  • A College or University degree relating to the health and fitness industry
  • Additional certifications or workshops relating to studio fitness
  • Prior experience as a studio fitness instructor
  • 3+ years of leadership and personnel management experience including proven success in coaching and motivating teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • All management/leadership team members are required to have Standard First Aid and CPR
  • Level C Certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually.
  • All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
