Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team and work on bringing new capabilities to our manufacturing environment.

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing mechanical systems and components that meet the specifications and requirements of our internal Operations team.

You will also coordinate with other engineers, technicians, contractors and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the projects within the budget and timeline.

Your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following activities:

Manage project schedules, budgets, resources and risks and report on the progress and status of the projects
Work with engineering firms and contractors to design and build complex mechanical systems for use in production
Perform engineering calculations, analysis and simulations to design and optimize mechanical systems and components
Review and prepare technical drawings, specifications, reports and documentation using CAD software and other tools
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and components to verify their performance, reliability and safety
Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, contractors and stakeholders to ensure the quality and efficiency of the projects

You will report directly to our Director of Manufacturing & Operations .

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering
At least 2 years of project management experience
Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar
Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, standards and codes
Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
