As the Corporate Services Administrator, you will provide senior-level leadership and guidance for the strategic priorities, policies, and objectives of the Department. You will be responsible for overseeing divisions such as Financial Services & Development Financing, Treasury Services, Information Technology Services, and the Insurance & Risk Management Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise key departmental roles and indirectly oversee additional staff.
  • Manage financial processes, planning, budgeting, and monitoring to protect the Region's assets.
  • Develop and implement financial management policies to ensure long-term financial health.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and prompt accounting transactions.
  • Oversee financial records and reporting processes, including presenting reports to management and stakeholders.

  • Expertise in financial accounting and management, with a professional accounting designation (CPA) and experience in a public sector organization.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.

  • Long-term planning and strategic thinking skills.
  • Leadership in promoting inclusivity and sound fiscal practices.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
