WHAT YOU WILL DO HERE:

  • Process accounts payable invoices including reviewing for accuracy and proper coding
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Work closely with Project Managers/Project Coordinators on project cost reporting
  • Reconcile monthly vendor statements
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assist with biweekly payroll
  • Follow up on outstanding customer billings
  • General Finance and Administration support
  • Prepare adhoc financial reports
  • Other such duties as required.

  • Residential, institutional, commercial, and light industrial projects
  • Affordable housing developments
  • Government and BC Housing projects
  • Private client builds for multimilliondollar homes and ski lodges.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Post-secondary certificate in a Business-related field (Finance, Accounting, Administration)
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS office
  • Demonstrated knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting functions
  • Ability to work independently and work in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt, undertake multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities
  • Experience with accounting in the construction industry is desirable

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary:
From $28.00 per hour
