We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Georama Growers. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
- Prepare Tenders and Quotations: Prepare detailed tenders and quotations for clients, taking into account materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Install and Fit Components: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Coordinate Site Work: Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Estimate Costs and Materials: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, taking into account factors such as labor, equipment, and materials.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
