The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) is a dynamic Catholic school board committed to the delivery of quality educational programs and services from a Catholic faith perspective. DPCDSB, one of Ontario's largest school boards in Ontario, is comprised of approximately 73,000 students enrolled in 151 schools (125 elementary and 26 secondary) throughout the diverse GTA municipalities of Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, and Orangeville. DPCDSB employs approximately 8,000 faculty and staff to deliver and support its Catholic educational mission.

Position Summary

Under direction from the Supervisor/Designate, this position is responsible for accurately processing salary and deductions to produce a pay record using a computerized human resources system, following strict bi-weekly, monthly and annual deadlines. Maintaining confidentiality is a requirement of this position. Basic Qualifications:

The basic qualifications for this position include:

  • Secondary School Diploma
  • Two (2) years relevant payroll experience
  • Proficient in the use of Board provided computer-based technologies to create, manipulate, store and retrieve information, and communicate with others
  • Demonstrated accurate keyboarding including number pad

And

  • Evidence from previous work history of satisfactory attendance and punctuality
