Rotation/Shifts:

Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements:

¿ Bachelor's degree in a health related field;

  • Current registration with professional college;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in trauma care;
  • Experience with research, writing of reports and dissemination of results;
  • Previous teaching experience with patients, other professionals, and with students:
  • Supervisory and leadership experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs and projects;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats;
  • Ability to prepare and present educational materials;
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including ability to relate to teenagers;
  • Knowledge of communitybased committees and programs related to the prevention of risktaking behaviours such as drug and alcohol use and injury prevention;
  • Ability to work independently requires selfdirection and initiative;
  • Ability to create written reports as required;
  • Ability to develop policies that pertain to the program.

Preferred Qualifications:

¿ Masters in a health-related field;

  • Relevant certification (ENC(C), TNCC, ATCN);
  • Proficiency in English and French
- oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
