Our client, a well-known consumer service organization, is seeking an experienced Interim Director – Credit & Collections. The role involves overseeing all collection activities for various service businesses and enforcing the corporate credit policy to achieve financial goals. You will apply your expertise in business practices and leadership along with industry knowledge to support the implementation of efficient credit & collection processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the collections process, develop strategies to enhance performance, manage a team of collection agents, and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Improve processes through automation, report outstanding accounts receivables, analyze collection practices, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to identify improvement areas, implement best practices, and provide regular updates on collections.
  • Develop credit frameworks, administer credit policies, and optimize recovery efforts to enhance cash flow.
  • Manage third-party collection relationships, focus on continuous improvement, and monitor market trends.
  • Provide leadership, set department goals, and offer guidance to achieve objectives.
  • Report cash and collection metrics, provide project support for credit decisions, and develop future leadership.
Competencies and Requirements:
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or relevant experience.
  • Experience in vendor and 3rd party collection agency management.
  • Ability to influence leadership, apply logic, and ensure ethical conduct.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and accountable.
  • Proficient in collection operation tools, with over 10 years of experience in collection and credit management.
