Lynden International Logistics ULC is searching for a Quality Assurance Coordinator/AQPIC to join their Quality Control Team. WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

REPORTS TO: Director of Regulatory/Quality Assurance

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The role involves monitoring branch quality standards, ensuring compliance with regulations like cGMP's, conducting inspections, and overseeing Narcotic department operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Assurance Coordinator

  • Ensure staff are well-trained, including in GMP, and maintain training records
  • Write and update standard operating procedures as needed
  • Conduct facility inspections and report findings to management
  • Respond to audits, develop action plans, and ensure completion
  • Provide assistance to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Initiate and complete Deviation Reports and Change Controls
  • Monitor operational processes and systems for compliance
  • Manage relations with contractors/suppliers and oversee services
  • Assist with inventory reporting and lot control
  • Supervise lot hold/release processes for inventory control
  • Investigate and report discrepancies
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulations
  • Conduct temperature and security testing
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and product disposition
  • Implement strategies to prevent future problems
  • Attend meetings and provide training as necessary
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management

AQPIC

  • Pick orders and verify legal signatures for shipment
  • Check and report inventory levels for accuracy
  • Authorize and process returns, maintain inventory records
  • Handle customer inquiries and regulatory affairs
  • Maintain security in caged areas including vaults
  • Monitor orders and routing through the system
  • Coordinate narcotic destruction processes

SKILLS/TRAINING REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with warehouse and office operations
  • Strong work ethic and communication skills
  • Effective organizational and time management abilities
  • Decision-making and recommendation skills

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • B.Sc. degree or equivalent

Minimum experience required:

  • 2 - 3 years of related work experience
  • 6 months on-the-job training or equivalent
