Barrow Safety is looking to hire an experience Health & Safety Manager for a 2 to 3 month contract in_
Tumbler Ridge, BC._ This individual will be working on a mine site directly with the construction workers and contractors.


Duties:

  • Implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits
  • Investigate incidents
  • Work with the health and safety team to support the development, review and implementation of HSE Management system programs
  • Provide health and safety technical support on site

Experience and Qualifications

  • Mining experience and a knowledge of Health & Safety management systems and standards
  • Valid Drivers License
  • NCSO Certification
  • Radiation Safety Officer (preferred)
  • Standard First Aid or Higher level of training
