About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Regional Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager at Brock Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing our Health and Safety programs, policies, and procedures across multiple site locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the well-being and safety of employees, customers, and visitors
  • Maintain compliance with applicable health and safety regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate HSE management system
  • Analyze statistical data and identify trends to inform health and safety initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the comprehensive corporate HSE management system
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work processes
  • Collaborate with regional managers and site supervisors to promote a culture of safety
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and client stakeholders
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions
  • Support the company's annual COR auditing process
  • Coordinate active WCB claims and monitor modified work programs
  • Provide guidance and support to regional teams in conducting risk assessments and developing project safety plans
  • Prepare and present reports on health and safety performance metrics and trends

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school graduation and completion of a diploma training program
  • Certification in Health and Safety, NCSO, CRSP, or a safety designation
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in safety or a related field, with at least 3+ years' experience as a health & safety manager
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
  • Proven experience as a health and safety professional in a multi-site or regional capacity
  • Strong knowledge of OH&S regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Proactive mindset and attention to detail
