YOUR NEW CHALLENGE


Reporting to the Optical Division Director, the Sales Manager manages a team of sales representatives across Canada for selected brands in our Optical Division.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and foster customer relationships
  • Maintain and develop sales of major accounts
  • Effectively manage a team of sales representatives to achieve growth and sales objectives
  • Establish and ensure the implementation of a strategic business and marketing plan to expand the customer base and optimize sales.
  • Establish objectives, supervision and performance control for sales representatives
  • Establish performance indicators
  • Follows up objectives with sales reps
  • Must go out into the field to ensure that sales reps are performing well
  • Raises the team's level of performance by proposing ideas and contributing to team development
  • Keeps up to date with research and benchmark on the optical industry
  • Questions current methods and constantly seeks to improve processes

QUALITIES OF OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Bilingual French/English, both spoken and written.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage a budget and sales reports.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team spirit and business acumen.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Available to travel.
