We are seeking a Certified Saw Filer to become part of our revamped, state-of-the-art lumber mill situated close to Williams Lake, British Columbia. Our Lakeview Division responsibly produces over a million board feet of lumber annually to cater to clients worldwide for their housing and community construction needs.

Our ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Certified Saw filer with interprovincial red seal and prior circular saw experience.
  • Devotion to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and planning aptitude.
  • Outstanding troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts.

In this position, you will:

Collaborate effectively within your team and with other departments.Perform maintenance on circular and band saws.Assist in problem-solving activities.Identify and suggest innovations to enhance processes and optimize equipment.Prioritize safety to ensure personal well-being and that of our operators and colleagues.
