We’re looking for a **Certified Benchperson** to join our **redesigned, modern lumber mill **located near** Williams Lake, British Columbia**. Our Lakeview Division safely and sustainably produces **over 230 million board feet of lumber per year** for **customers around the world** so they can build their homes and their communities.
- Experience working as a **Certified Benchperson** with a **valid Interprovincial ticket.**:

- **Previous circular saw filing experience is required.**:

- Commitment to** working safely.**:

- Strong **troubleshooting and** **problem solving skills.**:

- Ability to read **blueprints, diagrams and schematics.**:

- Ability to **follow work** **processes and procedures.**:

- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.

In this role you will:

- **Work with a set of tradespeople **and other team members to carry out **maintenance on round and band saws** and **troubleshooting**.
- **Work collaboratively across your team and with other departments**.
- Use your **problem-solving skills** to support troubleshooting and to look for and propose **new ideas** to streamline processes and fine-tune equipment.
- Use your knowledge and skills to recognize opportunities for **improvement and cost-savings**.
- Lead with your **unwavering commitment to** **safety** to keep yourself, our operators and other employees safe.
- Use your **organization and planning skills** to keep on top of your work.
