We are seeking RNs and RPNs who seek flexibility in their schedules for a Full-Time position in Sturgeon Falls, ON, and surrounding areas.

The working hours follow a 2-week rotation that includes weekends and on-call shifts within our Visiting Nurse Program offering services in patients' homes.

This role is part of a Collective Bargaining unit and will be internally posted for five (5) business days to allow bargaining unit employees to apply.

What The Role Involves
  • Developing and overseeing an effective Care Plan for Community Health Services, independently or in collaboration with Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS)
  • Providing exceptional nursing services to patients both in-person and virtually
  • Delivering one-on-one services to patients in a home environment
  • Communicating with patients, family members, and interdisciplinary care team members
  • Performing additional clinical duties as needed
What You Bring
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Dedication to improving patients' lives
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for regular travel
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • CPR Certification
  • Up-to-date immunization record, including a 2-step TB test
  • Mandatory current vulnerable sector and background checks to ensure patient safety
