The Role:
ETF and Benchmark Solution (EBS) Derived and Real Time Portfolio Operations Analyst
The Impact:

We support the complete ETP lifecycle:

Issuance:
Issuers leverage our composition data and analytics to support research for ETP construction.

Our PCF service delivers constituent data and a target NAV to market participants, while our iNAV service provides independent intraday NAV calculation and distribution.


Creation and redemption:

Authorized participants use our composition and reference data to determine their obligations, including delivery of underlying assets and fees, for fulfilling creation and redemption orders.


Investment decision making:

accurately breakdown ETP holdings by asset class, geography, sector etc in order to accurately track performance and manage risk.


Trading:
In addition to iNAV calculation and tracking, our composition data enables hedging activities. Our comprehensive basket data supports trading in each fund.

Post trade:
Our composition data enables daily profit and loss calculations to help meet reporting requirements. Our extensive analytics simplify risk management.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Ensure the quality and time-efficient production of financial information to respective products.

Liaise with clients and data vendors on complex queries

Monitor and research market events to anticipate changes.

Work with and involve cross functional teams to provide Root Cause Analysis to identify solutions in problem areas.

Consolidate information around the dataset leading to the establishment of best practices.

Perform automated/semi-automated checks to ensure production of high-quality content.

Identify data quality improvement projects, and good design practices

Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products

Provide source data for product line communications

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Contribute to the team effort

What We're Looking For:

University educated

2+ years' experience within the ETF or Indexing industry

Preference for ETF Subject Matter Expert

Preference for corporate actions experience

Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python

Global financial market and trends

**Preference for ETF pricing including real-time and ETF capital market experience

Grade/Level ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 09

The Location:
Toronto

Compensation/Benefits Information:

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $90-$95k CAD.

Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
