We are looking for a Grocery Representative to join us who is just as dedicated as we are in providing exceptional customer service and shares our passion.


  • 8 hour shifts available, weekday/weekend.
Some of the responsibilities of the role are, but not limited to:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm welcome the moment they enter the store
  • Educate and inform customers on discounts, store promotions, product features and aftersale services
  • Handle customer inquiries and requests in a prompt, polite and efficient manner
  • Operate cash register and bag groceries
  • Control inventory, informing Supervisor in case of low inventory levels
  • Discard all expired items inline with the store's policy
  • Efficiently stock, rotate and display product in a neat, organized and appealing manner
  • Take all opportunities to crosssell products, driving sales were appropriate
  • Manage returns of merchandise, with Supervisor approval
  • Coordinate with the Grocery Representative team to provide exceptional customer service, taking every opportunity to go above and beyond the customer's expectations
  • Stay up to date and knowledgeable on all new products and services offered
  • Comply with Occupational Health and Safety, food safety, and other regulatory requirements and procedures
  • Local deliveries as required

What we are looking for:

  • Previous retail or customerfocused experience, grocery/produce experience would be deemend a major asset
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • A good listener who is driven to educate others
  • Although not required, a valid Class 5 drivers license would be preferred
