Marketing & Communications Associate

Responsibilities:
- Write monthly blog posts on a variety of insurancerelated topics, including: risk management, insurance education and products, industry trends, thought leadership, and more;
- Conduct research on latest industry trends and consumer challenges to create content that will effectively connect with appropriate target markets;
- Work with other departments and teams (Home & Auto, Life & Health, Commercial Programs, Enterprise) to create, edit, and update marketing collateral as needed (i.e. flyers, internal documents, presentations, infographics, ads, etc.);
- Proofread, edit, and optimize content produced by teammates prior to publishing to ensure strict adherence to strategic focus and branding guidelines;
- Collaborate with other members of the Marketing team when necessary to develop content concepts and messaging in line with overall business and marketing objectives;
- Other duties as required.
To be seriously considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Exposure to the insurance industry is an asset.
Softer Skills: A self-driven and dedicated team player who enjoys participating in the creative process and working with others to develop innovative ideas. Someone with a growth mindset and a willingness to learn. Comfort with managing multiple demands, with proven organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
