Requirements:
- Proven experience as telemarketer and success in a Telemarketing role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in English
- Skilled in negotiation and overcoming objections
- Persistent, focused and resultsoriented
- High energy and passion for sales
- Patient and able to handle customer rejection
Responsibilities
- Reach out to potential customers and close the deal on Energy Services
- Use scripts to provide information about product's features, prices etc. and present their benefits and value
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer's needs
- Assertively persuade the customer to buy through demonstrating how our services meet their needs
- Record the customer's personal information accurately in a computer system
- Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Maintain a high level of competitive and product knowledge, including trends in the relevant products and services portfolio you are promoting
- Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of proven outbound sales experience (within the past 2 years) using a consultative sales approach while meeting sales quotas
- Understanding of the sales cycle/process
- Desire to earn high commissions/bonuses, and identify upselling opportunities
- Sales experience in Energy products preferred but not required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to sell and build customer relationships over the telephone
- Good attentive and active listening skills
- Ability to relate well to all kinds of people with various personalities and temperaments
- Ability to multitask by simultaneously; listening and thinking about solutions to offer customers while entering data
Schedule
Monday to Sunday: 9:30am to 11:30pm NDT (Monday to Sunday: 8am to 10pm EDT)
Flexibility to work varying shifts or additional hours as dictated by business needs
Newfoundland and Labrador Compensation
$14.50/hour plus commission and 4% vacation pay
UNCAPPED commission and PAID benefits
This position is ONLY available for those with a passion for closing the deal, who are able to change direction quickly and enjoy challenging themselves.
