This opportunity is for a Production Coordinator in our HJV Engineering department, working with various departments, vendors and suppliers. This position is located in our head office in Alliston, Ontario, reporting to our Production Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Exemplifies and promotes HJVs core values: Respect for Others, a Spirit to Serve and Continuous Improvement.

Understands HJV's vision and how the Product Coordinator can assist in achieving it.

Responsible for ensuring efficiency in the production process from start to end, working closely with the Engineering team.

This includes collecting information from the design team, identifying and ordering required materials such as stainless, plastic, tube lasers etc.

Responsible to maintain inventory levels of required material

Ensures inventory control processes and procedures are followed.

Conducts regular counts of material and parts

Ensures a clean and efficient order process

Maintains adequate inventory levels as required for each project

Minimizes deadstock as per company standards.

Ensures efficiency and accuracy in receiving information into the business system

Displays high quality of workmanship and professional image at all times.

Ensures adherence to all parts policies and procedures.

Ensures adherence to Health & Safety policies and applicable legislation, including working in a safe manner at all times.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Post-secondary education or vocational equivalent.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset

Strong understanding of PFW/CDK is an asset

Requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Minimum intermediate level Excel skills

Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills.
