We've got an exciting contract role for you: Mobile UX Designer

  • Start: As soon as possible
  • Estimated duration: 6 months
  • Location: Toronto
  • Hybrid role, partially onsite

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm and create innovative solutions for intricate problems
  • Conceptualize, develop, and innovate experiences
  • Design sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed scenarios
  • Ensure mobile interfaces align with design solutions across various platforms
  • Collaborate closely with diverse teams to achieve design objectives
  • Advocate for user-centric design throughout project phases
  • Stay updated on design methodologies, practices, and trends
  • Collaborate with the Emerald Design System team
  • Participate in user studies, testing, and research activities
  • Effectively communicate design concepts and approaches

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Mobile App UX Designer
  • Ability to translate ideas into engaging experiences
  • Skilled in prototyping with various techniques
  • Proficient in tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Knowledge of web and mobile technologies
  • Experience with design systems
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Good at asking questions and integrating feedback
  • Interpersonal skills and team collaboration

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in Motion Design
  • Background in development
  • Experience with FI
  • Previous Team Lead roles
