WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?


Represents the Company and sells its products in a highly professional and effective manner by performing the following duties personally.


WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Builds relationships with both existing customers and prospective customers.
  • Promotes the use of product in the industry and promotes new products.
  • Responds to and understands territory market conditions and pricing strategies to promote business.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, commence sales tracking system or word of mouth.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, serves and nurtures clients.
  • Investigates customer problems with deliveries.
  • Liaises between operations/technical services and customer in resolving disputes.
  • Maintains budget and expenses within companydefined limits.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions.
  • Works with Inside Sales to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Attends local and industry related association meetings as company representative.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

  • Postsecondary education, with five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communications & business development skills.
  • Ability to read drawings and perform specification review for cast in place concrete.
  • Willing to travel to different locations
  • Valid Driver's License and a car.
