Sales Account Executive - Industrial Operational Technology

Full-time, Permanent - Hybrid remote in Oakville, ON


CIMSOFT CORP - AVEVA Select Canada East, is looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and curious individual to join our growing sales team.

We are in search of a sales professional for our customers in Toronto and surrounding area.

As an Account Executive, you will maximize revenue by selling industrial software solutions to existing accounts and targeted new prospects in your assigned geographic territory.

Our customers are looking for solutions and we have the resources to guide them. Our industrial software solutions are effective in facilitating planning, reducing costs and optimizing maintenance and infrastructure performance.

What will your role look like at CIMSOFT CORP?

  • Develop, manage, and close new business opportunities.
  • Understand the customer's reality; act as a trusted consultant advisor and discover their most important problems and recommend the appropriate AVEVA solution to them.
  • Present customer solutions with customer drivers such as SaaS, cloud, IIoT, cyber, artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, mobile technology, big data, OEE, energy, cloud solutions, change management, connected worker, virtualization, AR/VR/MR and digital transformation.
  • Record sales activities (phone calls, site visits, quotes) with our CRM.
  • Communicate monthly forecasts.
  • Travel to customer sites or use virtual teams meetings as needed.

What You'll Need:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an account executive with a track record of success in achieving sales quotas of over $2 million.
  • Strong knowledge of the industrial technology ecosystem at both the maintenance, engineering and operational levels.
  • Industry knowledge is an asset in water, F&B, CPG, mining, pharma and manufacturing.
  • Holding a degree in Automation, Process control, Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technologist is an asset.
  • Good attitude and excellent customer service skills.
  • Used to collaborating and working in a team environment.
  • Ability to quickly prove value with new customer and some business development.
  • Creativity: we are looking for someone with an innovative approach to sales.
  • Communicate effectively ROI with key decision makers. (CxO, VP, Director and Operations).
  • Experience with CRM tools, Salesforce an asset.
