FULL TIME DRIVER – COMOX
Join UPS as a Full-Time Courier Driver (Delivery Driver) at our Comox Package Centre situated in Courtenay BC.
Job Details:
- Position: Full-Time Courier Driver (Delivery Driver)
- Schedule: 8:00AM Start, Monday to Friday (Full time)
- Scheduled shift: varies based on operational requirements
- Package Center location: 734 29th Street, Courtenay BC
*Schedules are formulated according to operational needs. Shift hours may experience slight fluctuations and are subject to alterations.
On a day-to-day basis, UPS Drivers conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on their designated vehicle. Their duties involve fulfilling daily delivery and pick-up schedules efficiently. They should feel at ease navigating road maps and utilizing trip planning resources, capable of resolving dispatch issues en route.
Qualifications:
- Outstanding Customer Service skills;
- Exceptional Verbal Communications skills;
- Aptitude for adhering to established procedures and standards;
- Hold a valid BC Driver's License (Class 5 or Canadian Equivalent);
- Possess a clean driver's abstract
- Capable of occasionally lifting up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unaided;
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, physically demanding delivery environment;
