About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student Canada-Transco. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their well-being and safety throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus, as well as addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the trip.
- Collaborate with our industry-leading technology to optimize routes and ensure timely arrivals.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- At least 21 years old.
- Undergo and pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks.
