We are seeking a skilled and strategic HR Business Partner to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Vaughn, Ontario, Canada As the HR Business Partner for the site, you will play a pivotal role in aligning human resources strategies with our manufacturing objectives, fostering a culture of excellence, and empowering our workforce to reach their full potential. What You'll Do:

  • Support our manufacturing facility in Vaughn by implementing HR programs to help improve the employee experience.
  • Provide high-quality advice and service to site management on employee relations and performance management issues.
  • Primary contact for Leave of Absence, Payroll, Bonus Payments, Employee Referral payments & Tuition Reimbursement inquiries.
  • Support and manage the grievance process with local Union.
  • Primary point of contact for Worker's Comp related incidents – guiding employees through reporting incidents, following up on status and appointments.
  • Offer proactive recruiting assistance by participating in selection and placement of candidates to help drive quality and timeliness of talent acquisition (coaching, providing guidance to hiring managers and helping to remove barriers).
  • Support implementation and administration of employee policies and identify ways to improve them.
  • Audit SuccessFactors periodically to ensure org structure, cost centers and job titles are accurate.
  • Collaborate with HRVPs and leaders to improve employee morale and company culture.
  • Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary.

  • Ability to build credibility with all levels of the organization
  • Detail oriented
  • Critical skills include: motivation, initiative, thoroughness, decision making and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience with LEAN processes and tools Experience with SAP, Success Factors systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced organization experiencing transformation

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years related experience inside a manufacturing plant
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Management, Business or related field
  • Union / Labor Relations experience required
  • Process orientation mind-set
  • ADP SuccessFactors & Kronos timekeeping experience STRONGLY desired
  • PHR / SHRM Certification preferred
