The Direct to Client (D2C) Digital Journey team is looking for a Digital Product Owner to lead the engineering of best-in-class digital enrolment, self-serve, and omni-channel experiences for our clients.


In addition, the Digital Product Owner will lead seamless integration into our digital ecosystem and operations with the goal of seamless implementation and adoption.


What will you do?

  • As Digital Product Owner, you are accountable for bringing vision, inspiration, and the voice of our clients to a talented multidisciplinary delivery team operating within the Agile Scrum methodology. You will be responsible for maximizing the value of the product and features being delivered by the team during the development process.

In the role you will:

  • Execute on the digital strategy roadmap in close collaboration with Business and Enterprise Services partners
  • Facilitate brainstorming workshops to identify new features, promoting team collaboration, and prioritizing of customer feedback.
  • Develop and share product targetstate vision with your team, sponsors, and stakeholders, continually evolving and refining as you learn.
  • Engages customers and partners on an ongoing basis to develop and share insights from the "Voice of the customer".
  • Recap "Value at Stake" from the fullfledged target state so that it is of top of mind for your team to use as a guide for decision making.
  • Track work underway within the organization influencing other work streams that impact products and features your delivering and proactively engages in conversations with relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive the initiative to deliver the business value and impact as described in the business case.
  • Keep the team focused on the business value and metrics the initiative is driving towards by recapping them with the team and sponsors.
  • Pressure test the stories to ensure they are absolutely needed to deliver the minimum viable product (MVP).
  • Engage sponsors and capability leaders at the appropriate levels and detail, sharing key achievements the team have completed, and key stories the team are working on.
  • Effectively collaborates with transformation leaders and technology leaders collectively making decisions.
  • Prioritize the backlog to ensure execution is on the shortest path to completing the MVP, acting with, and instilling a sense of urgency in delivering business value quickly to lean and validate.
  • Carefully manage leadership expectations about assumptions, resources, and benefits.
  • Works with the delivery team to finalize what is going to be in the current sprint during sprint planning.
  • Be available to answer any question from the delivery team an provide timely decisions when needed.
  • Provide feedback and encouragement to your delivery team.
