This is a hybrid position based in downtown Toronto with the expectation to work in-office up to 3 days a week.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in brand development by planning and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns, programs, events etc.
- Support the Marketing Director in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars.
- Project manages monthly / weekly programs with workback schedules, contact reports and status updates to ensure all deliverables are launched on time.
- Developing creative briefs to help creative deliver and meet objectives for all member, partner & public facing communications, including digital, social, print and video assets.
- Collaborating with different departments in the development of marketing campaigns suitable for different business needs.
- Supporting on all requirements needed for member / partner dinners, tradeshows, meetups etc.
- Supporting in the development of the new Ensemble website, working with the many stakeholders on content needs, lead gen, SEO, and much more.
- Works close with the social media manager by supporting in the monthly/ biweekly briefing of all things happening at Ensemble and helping source and secure content for social.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or undergraduate degree preferably in a communication, marketing, digital marketing.
- 5 years+ agency experience is required.
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of brand building and brand management.
- Has a strong knowledge of social media, posting, community management, platform requirements etc.
- Understands the process, management and execution of both virtual and inperson events.
- Travel industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Confident, disciplined and assertive with excellent influencing and persuasion skills.
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects, campaigns and incoming requests with multiple business unit owners.
- Detail oriented with good written and oral communications skills.
- A team player and selfstarter that is comfortable working in a fastpaced environment, taking initiative with limited resources, and making datadriven and decisions.
