To meet the growing demand for our product we're currently seeking a
_Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator._ In this position you will ensure timely availability of materials and supplies and coordination of shipments, while upholding high standards of customer service.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Coordinate the timely shipment of orders and expedite purchase orders to ensure materials and supplies are available as per production requirements.
- Proactively address any shipping or supply delays with suppliers and update systems to minimize disruptions to production schedules.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding shipment and order status, as well as any known or expected supply issues.
- Request and issue necessary shipping and customs documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Research and compare shipping rates from various carriers to secure the best available deals, negotiating terms and rates when necessary.
- Plan and coordinate local company arranged pickups, as well as lead the PO confirmation process to ensure prompt confirmation within 24 hours.
- Provide support during new product launches and other supply chainrelated projects, and assist in implementing strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in resolving quality control issues related to delivered materials, ensuring compliance with established standards.
We're Looking For:
- Familiarity with shipping, logistics, and supply chain principles.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external coordination.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in using shipping software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant computer systems.
- Problemsolving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and operational needs.
- Ethical conduct and professionalism in all interactions.
- Collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
