Opportunity:

Our client, a prominent brokerage known for its exceptional reputation among employees and clients, is seeking a VP of Sales for the Personal Lines Insurance Division.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions:

  • Overseeing daily operations and performance for the Personal Insurance Division.
  • Contributing new insights and innovative ideas to the PL business model.
  • Participating in Prospect and Client Meetings.
  • Assessing, evaluating, and reporting on staff and key business indicators.
  • Developing and executing operational and structural changes alongside other senior executives.
  • Providing guidance and assistance to division managers.
  • Conducting regular analyses of business operations and improving current practices.
  • Preparing, delivering, and presenting reports at executive meetings.
  • Ensuring alignment of spending and budgeting with business objectives and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive company growth and stability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A postgraduate degree in business management or risk management.
  • Strong expertise in Personal Insurance.
  • 5 Years of Sales Experience.
  • 5 Years of leadership experience in management/sales.
  • General Insurance Level 3 License in BC (or eligibility to qualify).
  • Effective Planner and Results Focused (with a Big Picture Mentality).
  • Strong decision-making, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and teamwork.
  • Highly organized, punctual, and goal-oriented.
