Purpose: Contributes to the overall success of the ScotiaHelps team in Canada ensuring specific individual goals and initiatives are executed in alignment with the team's business strategies and objectives, while maintaining compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Accountabilities:

  • Champions a customer-focused culture to enhance client relationships and utilize Bank resources efficiently.
  • Process various types of correspondence accurately following documented procedures.
  • Handle daily account transactions effectively to meet operational requirements.
  • Address customer inquiries through inbound telephone lines.
  • Consider the Bank's risk culture in daily activities and decisions.
  • Ensure operational controls are adhered to for managing risks and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement strategies to create a high-performance work environment and develop the team effectively.

Dimensions:

  • Minimum processing rate per hour for return mail or administrative items.
  • Manage delinquent accounts and impact customer experience through timely processing.
  • Utilize systems for accurate documentation and task processing.

Education / Experience / Other Information:

  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in Collections and Back Office Domestic Branch considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based environment with hybrid work options.
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm EST.
  • Location: 2201 Eglinton Avenue East, Scarborough.
  • Non-standard working hours may be necessary.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel required.
