NRC now has a new permanent GMP-compliant clinical trial material production facility on its Royalmount Avenue site in Montreal.

This facility is used to manufacture vaccine and other biologic materials for clinical trials, to support vaccine development at the clinical trial stage.

Your main responsibility is to perform classified rooms routine cleaning following established procedures.


You will support production teams for entering material in classified areas, material cleaning, material sterilization, and participate into buffer/solution preparation.


Screening Criteria:

Education:

Post High School degree in a technical and/or scientific field.

A combination of education and relevant experience in the maintenance and/or control of cleanroom/laboratory environments will be considered.

Experience:

  • Experience in the maintenance of workplaces in the health sector (laboratory, hospital) or in the pharmaceutical industry (clean rooms);
  • Experience in biological waste management; and
  • Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment is an asset.

Condition of Employment:

  • Reliability Status;
  • A flexible schedule and overtime may be required. Overtime will sometimes be required on short notice;
  • Must be able to handle/lift a charge up to 23kg;
  • Work wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and gowning for clean room; and
  • Must be able to work under level 2 lab conditions.
