Your Role and Responsibilities

Provides expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP's SAP requirements and design. Designing/configuring business processes in SAP FM to automate the management and external reporting of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management; manage posting periods and period end closing; and enable open and integrated data flow between financial account and the other components of the SAP system.

Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

10+ years SAP FI/CO experience. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in 1+ functional module

5+ years designing/configuring business processes in SAP Funds Management (FM). Ex: Budgetary Ledger, FM Derivation, Budgeting and AVC Control.

Software development lifecycle: gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post-production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting (in a Tier 3 environment)

Bachelor's Degree in recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional 4+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP

Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix
