Responsibilities:
  • Analyze technical information to provide appropriate solutions for clients' sealing requirements, including recommendations for seal types, materials, and systems.
  • Assist in seal installation, removal, and troubleshooting activities in the field.
  • Evaluate failed seals as necessary, provide detailed failure analysis, root cause analyses, and technical recommendations in Seal Failure Reports.
  • Lead Latent/Root Cause Analysis on warranty incidents and response efforts.
  • Participate in product promotion, sales, and servicing in the Canada territory.
  • Prepare technical proposals, review purchase orders, and collaborate with planning/customer service and design teams for timely execution of quotations and orders.
  • Create and/or review drawings and product operation & maintenance manuals when required.
  • Act as a Project Manager for strategic customers/projects.
  • Troubleshoot products and systems, documenting findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining sales tools and represent the planning department for external audits.
  • Support annual inventory processes and participate actively in the Quality Management System.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position related to seals or rotating equipment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills.


Preferred:
  • Advanced education or training in mechanical seal technology.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical sealing technologies and associated equipment.
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Demonstrated analytical and interpersonal skills for effective problem-solving and teamwork.
