Job Description

What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Sales & Service Assistant Manager,

The core responsibilities of your role include:

  • Identifying customer needs and enhancing existing products by developing contact plans, introducing new products and services, and marketing personal insurance business.
  • Selling products by establishing contact, building relationships with prospects, answering incoming communications, following up on expiry date cards, re-quoting prospects from previous years and canceled files, and contacting generated leads.
  • Cultivating a trustworthy environment that fosters new sales opportunities and maintains existing business.
  • Actively engaging within the team and autonomously contributing to overall business enhancement.
  • Owning and resolving all customer inquiries proficiently while minimizing customer effort.
  • Accurately processing account changes, maintaining thorough customer documentation, preparing correspondence, and documenting files for follow-up.
  • Tackling complex insurance-related issues by creatively utilizing available resources until a resolution is achieved.
  • Maintaining an updated TAM base and promptly following up on all client communications.
  • Keeping accurate logs of completed quotes, sales, days worked, and other relevant metrics for monthly reporting.
  • Staying informed on company underwriting guidelines and market changes.
  • Performing other necessary duties as assigned.

Qualifications

This ideal candidate possesses:

  • A RIBO.
  • Other national licensing is deemed advantageous.
  • One to three years' experience, preferably in personal lines, auto, and property insurance.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to handle customer issues positively.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications. Preference is given to those with experience using Epic, Salesforce, and the Company portals.
