Provide marketing and outreach support to the Employment Services team for the promotion of programs and services

  • Providing key recruitment support to the Program and supporting a variety of task
  • Collecting, filing and summarizing the assessment data from the participants
  • Sharing in marketing responsibilities Supporting, motivating and encouraging participants in project
  • Updating participant profiles as required
  • Able to help plan events
  • Task and Goal Oriented
  • Can work evenings and weekends
  • Providing general administrative support as need
  • This is a hybrid position

  • Be between ages 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
  • Be Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and must be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
  • Possess administrative and marketing skills
  • Have a demonstrated ability in the use of MS Office products, web browsers and online research social media tools
  • Familiarity with use of designing software i.e. Canva, Adobe, Photoshoot, Video Editing, Recording & Video Editing would be an asset
  • Experience working in a customer service or direct delivery of services to the public in a marketing outreach, public relations or related role
  • Knowledge of marketing principals with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Enjoy a wide variety of tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong team player, with the ability to prioritize and problem solve
  • Experience working with diverse cultural groups
  • Google Analytics Basic
  • Detail oriented and can work independently
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Can Create Content (Visual and Written) and Comfortable in Social Media Marketing
  • ZOOM & other online communication platforms
  • Proficient in Google Workspace
We are highly motivated group who wants to create positive impact in our community.

We are driven to ensure that our participants walk out from our program with the skills, knowledge and network to give them the confidence necessary to make them strong community leaders.

Our job is not 9-5.

We work in the daytime, the evenings and the weekends because our entire drive is to give everyone in our program the opportunity they may otherwise miss.

Our program has a 95% success rate. 95% of our participants will complete the program and will become mentors to new participants. We are a group of independent, highly motivated goal focused women.

It is not unusual for someone to come up with an idea at 9pm and work through that idea until 1am with another team member.

We are a highly positive group with a singular goal in mind -the success of our participants.

In a typical week, we would have at least 3 workshops, 4 committee meetings, 2 meetings with not-for-profit organizations that needs help from one of our skilled participants.

Plus, we mentor our participants through open door sessions. We recruit, market, plan, deliver supplies and execute new ideas.

And ensure our paperwork are completely up-to-date so that everyone in our shared group will always be able to pick up where one of us left of.
