THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Director, Vendor Management & Operational Sourcing, the Sourcing Specialist

leads indirect tail spend management initiatives such as vendor consolidation while balancing

sourcing & contract execution for low dollar, low risk procurement transactions. This role

requires a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, tactical sourcing, operational efficiency,

accountable for strengthening relationships with organisation's suppliers while driving value for Company through tail spend management.

In this position you will gain a broad understanding of Company's overall business and will provide visibility and understanding across the organization.


WHAT YOU ARE GREAT AT

  • Continuously monitor and analyze global spend data, identify costsaving
opportunities, and implement measures to reduce expenses while maintaining service

levels.

  • Identify & execute on opportunities for vendor consolidation.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories to optimize
supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Conduct supplier evaluations, analyze supplier capabilities, negotiate contracts, and
select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and service requirements.

  • Appling knowledge of commercial contract law and organizational policies, practices,
and requirements to assess, plan and negotiate the best terms and conditions and to

minimize risk.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including crossfunctional teams, to understand
requirements and provide support in sourcing initiatives. Build and maintain strong

relationships with stakeholders to ensure needs are met.

  • Stay up to date with market trends, supplier capabilities, industry best practices, and
emerging technologies in the indirect procurement space, leverage this knowledge to

inform sourcing decisions and drive innovation.

  • Monitor supplier performance, work with Vendor Managers to resolve any issues or
disputes and drive continuous improvement through regular performance reviews and

supplier scorecards.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function, suggest and implement enhancements to streamline sourcing activities, increase efficiency, and reduce cycle times. WHAT IT TAKES
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Professional designation/certification in Supply Chain Management (PMAC SCMP / CPP, ISM) or PMP is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Sourcing Specialist or a similar role in procurement, preferably in the tech sector with a focus on indirect spend management and vendor consolidation on a global scale.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decisionmaking.
  • Ability to take initiative in recognizing data issues/concerns or areas where improvements could be made.
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills with a proven ability to be a solutionsoriented decision maker.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Advanced digital literacy including proficiency in using procurement tools such as Ariba, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP and NetSuite.
  • Knowledge of market trends, sourcing best practices, and emerging technologies in the indirect procurement space.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Selfmanagement including attention to detail, organizational/time management, strong inclination to selfdevelopment.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt in changing environments.

Salary:
$35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
