About the Opportunity:

We are currently looking for an
Operating Room Attendant to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled professionals.

The Operating Room Attendant assists the Nursing Unit staff with the safe set up of the operating room and maintaining a clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

The hours of work are all shifts, including weekends.

More About You:


To qualify for the role, you must have completed a Health Care Aide Certification Program or Personal Support Worker Program from a recognized College.


You will also need to have:

  • Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent;
  • Operating Room Attendant Course or willing to obtain within one year of obtaining the position;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent or current Operating Room experience;
  • Knowledge of medical and surgical terminology;
  • Knowledge of medical and surgical equipment;
  • Proven ability at multitasking, prioritization, and organization;
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the positions (frequent walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting;
  • Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, performance levels, disciplinary history and positive work references;
  • Proven ability to adhere to safe work practices.

About the Benefits:

$25.85 to start.
