**About the Opportunity**:
We are currently looking for an **Operating Room Attendant **to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled professionals. The Operating Room Attendant assists the Nursing Unit staff with the safe set up of the operating room and maintaining a clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

The hours of work are all shifts, including weekends.

**More About You**:
To qualify for the role, you must have completed a Health Care Aide Certification Program or Personal Support Worker Program from a recognized College. You will also need to have:

- Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent;
- Operating Room Attendant Course or willing to obtain within one year of obtaining the position;
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent or current Operating Room experience;
- Knowledge of medical and surgical terminology;
- Knowledge of medical and surgical equipment;
- Proven ability at multitasking, prioritization, and organization;
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the positions (frequent walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting;
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, performance levels, disciplinary history and positive work references;
- Proven ability to adhere to safe work practices.
