About the Opportunity:

WPSHC currently has an opening for a
Security/ Building Monitor
to join our organization in Parry Sound, Ontario**. The successful applicant will assist in ensuring building security and the safety of patients, staff and visitors.

The hours of work are all shifts, including weekends.

More About You:

To qualify for the role, you will need to have completed Grade 12 or equivalent.

You will also need to have:

  • Successful completion of an aggressive behaviour course;
  • Must be physically capable of fulfilling the physical duties of the position such as transferring loads of 30 lbs.+ and transporting equipment and supplies throughout the Health Centre;
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and work independently with mínimal supervision;
  • Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history and positive work references;
  • Valid license to act as a Security Guard as required under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005;

About the Benefits:

$22.39 per hour to start.
