Job Description

As part of the MLSE Global Partnership development team, your main role involves driving new partnership and revenue opportunities while shaping and executing our new business strategy for the upcoming season. This position will involve exploring new business and revenue opportunities across all MLSE properties such as Maple Leafs, Raptors, Argonauts, Toronto FC, and MLSE owned venues. We are looking for a creative, dynamic, and organized individual who can research, evaluate, and communicate key insights to drive our business forward.

The internship term for MLSE runs from September 9th to December 20th, 2024.

  • Support the development of sponsorship revenue opportunities through prospecting, market analysis, personal networks, and more.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and research on the marketplace to identify new categories and prepare research reports.
  • Create various sales materials including presentations, partnership proposals, and summaries.
  • Assist the Partnership Development Team through industry research and client updates.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the sales process within the company.
  • Contribute to developing a comprehensive partnership strategy that highlights our value proposition and offers creative solutions to key business problems.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a business or marketing related program at a post-secondary institution.
  • Available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with flexibility.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of marketing, partnerships, and research.
  • Demonstrated inclusivity, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to establish professional relationships internally and externally.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Positive attitude with a focus on integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
