This exciting Machine Builder position is based in Brampton and requires travel to international customer sites to assist with installation, servicing and repair of automated machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for grow and work with a team which is highly skilled in the latest technology in the field.

Assemble and troubleshoot highly-automated machinery with tight tolerances

Commission, install, maintain and/or repair sophisticated machinery and equipment in Brampton Plant or at international customer site according to layout plans, blueprints, schematic or other drawings

Ensure that plant machinery is in good working order Assemble, install and align machines and equipment using hand tools and power tools

Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager

Qualifications:

Three plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Valid Ontario Machine Assembler certificate or equivalent

Able and willing to travel at least 35% of the time to work at international customer sites, with additional site allowance

Good mechanical background in a manufacturing or production environment

Ability to operate machine-shop equipment such as milling machine, lathe, etc.

Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, drawings

Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics preferred

Overhead crane license and forklift experience preferred

Log out/tag out training an asset

Ability to work with others and follow instructions closely

Good English communication skills

Valid Passport required

Salary negotiable based on qualifications and experience

Contract to permanent if qualified

Controlled Goods background check
