We are currently searching for a Contract Deployment Technician, Client Services.

Reporting to the Senior Deployment Manager, Client Services, the Deployment Technician, Client Services (IT) is responsible for deployment, QA testing, support, and training of BP approved software and technologies for all divisions of Boston Pizza International and the franchised restaurant locations.

This position involves project deployment, helpdesk support, and project initiative research and development. It will also require a flexible work schedule to accommodate the project deployment.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the deployment of software builds and technologies to the restaurant
  • Responsible for verification of system stability for staged and newly deployed POS technologies through remote support and onsite inspection
  • Document reported problems into ticketing system and followup with stores to ensure timely resolution of problems and managed services
  • Coordinating and following up on technical support issues with suppliers and vendors
  • Responsible for project organization, implementation, deployment, and documentation
  • Responsible for investigation and research & development into new technologies and initiatives
  • Responsible for Hardware and Software evaluation and testing
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (XP, Win7, Win10), Office 365, AD/Exchange Server
  • Networking experience with firewalls and switches
  • General knowledge and experience of standard restaurant operations
  • Proactive with excellent organizational skills, time management and multitasking abilities
  • Enthusiastic and strategic approach in dealing with tasks or challenges and exercises professionalism in all aspects
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent customer service with ability to communicate with technical & nontechnical users/clients & employees
  • A team player with the ability to work independently
  • Job will entail working a flexible schedule and hours to accommodate the Boston Pizza locations that are across the 6 time zones in North America.
  • Flexible work hours could range anywhere in the 5am PDT to 6pm PDT time slot
  • Technical Diploma or a Degree
  • MCSE/MCSA is an asset
  • General knowledge and experience of standard restaurant operations
  • Experience with point of sale systems is an asset
