The Role:

If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Health Partnership Lead at Moderna.


As a Health Partnership Lead, you will join Moderna at an exciting and critical time as we look beyond COVID and begin commercialize our respiratory vaccine pipeline that is rapidly advancing.

You will take responsibility and ownership for establishing and enhancing holistic and multi-faceted customer relationships with different stakeholders related to immunization in Canada.

You will play a critical role in creating pull-through for Moderna's vaccines to ensure adequate and simple delivery to appropriate patients.

This role will be a commercial role with a focus on developing innovative pull-through strategies and tactics to support vaccinators and patients.


Here's What You'll Do:


Conceive and develop innovative key account product segmentation and solutions translated across B2C or B2B customer segments that build and enable a "winning" platform for Moderna's brands and products.


Engage key stakeholders (pharmacy chains, professional organizations, trade stakeholders, partners involved across the patient pathway, etc) to gains deep insights into issues and opportunities that inform Moderna's strategic and operational commercial objectives and support development of new solutions to create differentiated value.


Establish and maintain connections externally with targeted customers, including health care professionals, and other stakeholders associated with the implementation and planning of public immunization.

Partner with top employers and develop collaborations and solutions to drive vaccination uptake


Develop robust relationships as a trusted partner with HCP involved in the delivery of vaccines to patients; Nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy chains, other relevant HCP on patient journey to vaccination to improve vaccination uptake and vaccines pull-through.


Build and maintain a knowledge of the competitive landscape for our key products and the policy environment around these products.

Leverage data and digital enablement tools to prioritize opportunities across a dynamic landscape of potential and target key accounts.


Collaborate with cross-functional product teams at every stage of vaccine development through launch to understand how the product landscape is changing and how your account targeting strategies will need to adapt.


Be a key leader in building Moderna's Vaccines commercial organization, as we enter brand new markets and grow Moderna at an accelerated pace.

Comply with corporate policies and procedures as well as all applicable healthcare laws and regulations.


Responsible for cultivating a close relationship with cross functional team colleagues in Medical Affairs, Marketing, Distribution / Logistics, Customer Service, and Public Affairs departments to implement corporate, operational (shipping/inventory), market access, legal/compliance and brand specific strategies and tactics.

Represent Moderna at key trade and customer meetings / conferences.

Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

Bachelor's Degree required

Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech account strategy and account management

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in a startup environment, preferable launching new vaccines or medicines

Pharmacy/healthcare operations experience or an understanding of the Canadian healthcare system is an asset

Demonstrated track record of building and driving volume and profitable revenue growth

Demonstrated prior experience with establishing and consistently meeting or exceeding business development targets.

Demonstrated track record of creating pull-through strategies and generating growth.

Track record of developing and executing B2B innovative solutions

Proven ability to innovate, demonstrate creative, critical & strategic thinking as well as a deep understanding of potential digital solutions

Superior influencing skills at all levels of organization and ability to negotiate

Understanding of vaccinators objectives and hurdles.


Ability to develop trusted partnerships and to uncover pull-through growth opportunity and execute with urgency to drive results in the short and medium term.

Very strong learning and execution agility and ability to learn and execute with impact and urgency, playing equally effectively at the strategic and operational level.

Must be comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment that is being defined in real-time.
