TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Internal Auditor in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.
Mentor the internal audit team, conducting risk-based audits across various areas including Operational, Financial, IT/Cybersecurity, and Compliance.Develop and execute annual audit plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate internal controls and processes, identify weaknesses, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and track progress.
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide advisory support on risk management and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement within the internal audit function, enhancing methodologies and processes.
Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in internal audit, with a focus on Operational, Financial, and IT/Cybersecurity audits.
Proven track record of leading successful audits and driving positive outcomes for the organization.Strong understanding of risk management principles, internal controls, and audit methodologies.
MBA, CPA) a plus.
Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Permanent, Full-time, Onsite
Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
