Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams and relevant utility providers to plan and coordinate the installation of essential utilities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and requirements.
  • Obtain the necessary permits and approvals from local authorities and utility providers for utility connections and installations.
  • Liaise with utility companies to schedule utility connections, disconnections, and relocations, as required to support construction activities.
  • Develop and manage the budget associated with utility installations and maintenance. Monitor expenditures and seek costeffective solutions while ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Oversee the installation of utilities, including water supply, electrical connections, gas lines, and telecommunications infrastructure. Ensure that installations meet quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure that utility installations comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company safety protocols. Promote a culture of safety on construction sites.
  • Coordinate ongoing maintenance, repairs, and service for utilities to prevent disruptions to construction activities and ensure the continuous availability of services.
  • Assess the impact of changes, modifications, or scope changes on utility requirements. Ensure that changes are properly documented and executed in alignment with project needs.
  • Prepare and provide regular utility status reports to project management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, variances, and potential issues.
  • Ensure that utility installations and operations comply with environmental regulations and requirements, including waste disposal and pollution control.
  • Maintain communication with utility providers, government authorities, and other stakeholders to address utilityrelated issues and manage relationships.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in utility management, construction project management, or a related role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of utility systems, construction processes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problemsolving, and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Analytical and criticalthinking abilities.
  • Commitment to ethical, safety, and quality standards.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
