Position Summary:
VIDEO SURVEILLANCE OFFICER


Live Patrol is looking for an agent that must observe and respond to Video Verified information being monitored from the client's security system.

In the role, you will provide customer service, review VMS equipment and collaborate as a team, among other duties.

  • Overnight/Weekend Premium Pay

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch audio/access signals to establish emergency/required by customer services.
  • Document the alarms and solution (steps taken) in the client's database.
  • Accurate and timely dispatching of calls to proper emergency contacts (911, client's requested emergency contacts).
  • Periodically verify VMS equipment and notify management of any issues, or concerns with equipment.
  • Data entry including customer account maintenance.
  • Other affiliated duties related to the position or upon immediate request from management.

Qualifications:

  • Flexible to work rotating shifts when necessary (morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, weekend and/or statutory holiday shifts).
  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • Must be bonded.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Must be punctual.
  • Must have excellent written communication skills as well as a professional phone manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required with the ability to resolve conflict and problems. Be able to manage difficult customer situations.
  • Experience in the security industry is an asset.
  • Critical thinking, selfmotivation and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate individually as well as in a team.
  • Strong computer skills, with an ability to learn new software programs quickly. Prior experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word is an asset.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
