Located in Montreal West Island, in Pointe-Claire, our factory is looking for a
_Forklift Driver / Operator _to join our amazing team.

Relevant experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment and in standard forklift driving is an important asset. Permanent full-time position, unionized. Excellent working conditions, competitive compensation, group insurance plan, pension plan. Free parking available.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive the forklift safely;
  • Load and unload the merchandise while respecting the procedures established by Gentek;
  • Ensure the production line doesn't miss supplies;
  • Be sure to strictly follow health and safety rules;
  • Perform various productionrelated tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Master French. English is an asset
  • A valid forklift license
  • Experience in driving a standard sitdown forklift
  • Be able to work in rotation on shifts: day, evening, night
  • Punctual, reliable and professional
  • Work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Be aware of the importance of following the Health and Safety rules
  • Have a positive and determined attitude
  • Be flexible regarding the schedule
Additional Information

Working for Gentek is:
