RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE
Notre client est à la recherche d'un(e) Directeur de l'équipe de développement logiciel pour se joindre à leur équipe. Ce rôle joue un rôle crucial en mariant les prouesses techniques de notre équipe avec un engagement profond envers le bien-être et la croissance de chaque membre. Ce rôle exige un mélange d'expertise technique, d'intelligence émotionnelle et une passion pour la promotion d'une culture d'équipe dynamique et solidaire.

RESPONSABILITÉS
Leadership des personnes : Prioriser la croissance professionnelle et personnelle de l'équipe, en reconnaissant les forces, les aspirations et les défis individuels.
Dynamique d'équipe : Favoriser une culture de communication ouverte, de collaboration, d'inclusion et de respect mutuel.
Consolidation d'équipe : Mettre en œuvre des activités pour bâtir et renforcer l'esprit d'équipe
Mentorat et coaching : Offrir des séances de coaching régulières 1 :1, guidant les membres de l'équipe dans leur cheminement de carrière et leurs défis personnels liés au travail. Déterminer les besoins de formation des membres de l'équipe et organiser des ateliers, des cours ou d'autres possibilités de formation.
Établissement d'objectifs et suivi : Mettre en œuvre une boucle de rétroaction continue. Fixer des objectifs à court et à long terme pour l'équipe et suivre les progrès réalisés vers leur réalisation.
Assurer le bien-être : Préconiser et mettre en œuvre des politiques et des pratiques qui respectent l'équilibre travail-vie personnelle et le bien-être général.
Fournir du soutien : Aider les membres de l'équipe à relever les défis auxquels ils pourraient être confrontés, offrir des ressources ou des outils, ou faciliter la collaboration avec d'autres équipes ou départements. Servir de pont entre l'équipe et les intervenants externes, en traduisant les besoins tout en veillant à ce que le point de vue et le bien-être de l'équipe soient pris en compte.
Résolution des conflits : Régler les désaccords ou les différends entre les membres de l'équipe, arbitrer les discussions et trouver des solutions aux problèmes interpersonnels ou liés au travail, et plus...

EXIGENCES
  • Baccalauréat en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans le développement de logiciels avec de l'expérience dans un rôle de leadership ou de gestion.
  • Expérience avérée de la direction de projets de développement réussis.
  • Compétences exceptionnelles en résolution de problèmes, en organisation et en leadership.
  • Solides compétences en communication verbale et écrite.
  • Capacité de travailler dans un environnement collaboratif au rythme rapide.
  • Bilinguisme (anglais, français) - requis parce que ce rôle exige un travail fréquent avec des équipes situées à l'extérieur du Québec et la capacité de communiquer avec elles à l'oral et à l'écrit.

MANDAT SUMMARY
Our client is looking for a Software Development Team Director to join their team. This role plays a crucial role in marrying the technical prowess of our team with a deep commitment to the well-being and growth of each member. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, emotional intelligence, and a passion for fostering a vibrant and supportive team culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES
People Leadership: Prioritize the professional and personal growth of the team, recognizing individual strengths, aspirations, and challenges.
Team Dynamics: Nurture a culture of open communication, collaboration, inclusiveness, and mutual respect.
Team Building: Implement activities to build and strengthen team spirit
Mentoring & Coaching: Offer regular 1:1 coaching sessions, guiding team members in their career trajectories and personal challenges related to work. Identifying the training needs of team members and organizing workshops, courses, or other training opportunities.
Goal Setting and Tracking: Implement a continuous feedback loop. Setting short-term and long-term goals for the team and tracking progress towards achieving them.
Ensuring Well-being: Advocate for and implement policies and practices that respect work-life balance and overall well-being.
Providing Support: Assisting team members with challenges they might face, offering resources or tools, or facilitating collaboration with other teams or departments. Act as the bridge between the team and external stakeholders, translating needs while ensuring the team's perspective and well-being are considered.
Conflict Resolution: Addressing disagreements or disputes among team members, mediating discussions, and finding solutions to interpersonal or work-related problems.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of leading successful development projects.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Bilingual (English, French) - required because this role requires frequent work with teams located outside Quebec and the ability to communicate with them both orally and in writing.
