Line Cook/Prep Cook

Duties:

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, slicing, and dicing
  • Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes
  • Cook food items according to specified recipes and portion sizes
  • Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper cooking techniques are used
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed

Skills:

  • Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Salary:
$16.00-$20.00 per hour
